Aloe Vera leaves - Navié

Description

Navié Egyptian Aloe Vera leaves.
Egyptian Aloe Vera leaves are a major agricultural commodity, primarily harvested from the Barbadensis Miller variety grown in the sandy soils of the Nile Delta and the New Valley . Egypt’s intense desert sun results in thicker leaves with a higher concentration of Acemannan, the key healing polysaccharide.

Egyptian Leaves "Better"?
Size and Thickness: Egyptian leaves are known for being exceptionally large and "fleshy," often weighing between 500g and 1.2kg per leaf. This provides a higher yield of pure inner gel per unit.
Low Moisture, High Potency: Because they grow in arid conditions, the plant stores nutrients more densely. Egyptian leaves often test higher for Minerals (Zinc, Magnesium) and Vitamins (A, C, E) than those grown in humid tropical climates.
Long Shelf Life: Due to their thick rinds, Egyptian leaves can survive long-distance shipping (up to 3-4 weeks in climate-controlled containers) without losing their gel integrity.

Plants and parts of plants used in pharmacy or perfumery).
Maturity: Leaves are typically harvested from plants that are 3 to 5 years old to ensure peak medicinal potency.
Processing: For export, leaves are usually triple-washed and air-dried before being packed in ventilated crates to prevent fermentation.
