Description
Navié Egyptian Basil Concrete is a high-value aromatic extract derived from the leaves and flowering tops of the basil plant (Ocimum basilicum). Egypt is a leading global producer of the Linalool-rich variety, which is specifically favoured by fine perfumery houses for its refined, almost floral character.
Olfactory Profile: It offers a fresh, sweet, and green aroma. Unlike steam-distilled oil, which can have sharp licorice notes, the concrete is described as having facets of moss, fern, and peat, reminiscent of a wet coastal forest.
Superior Fixative Properties: In its waxy, semi-solid form, it acts as an excellent fixative. It helps slow down the evaporation of lighter scent components, making a fragrance last significantly longer on the skin.
